Success Story
San Diego, California Fabric Military Hangar
100' Wide x 280' Long Fabric Building
The GC Fabric Building Division completed a 100' x 280' fabric military hangar at Naval Air Station North Island near San Diego, California. This pre-engineered fabric covered steel structure provides enclosed, climate-controlled space for aircraft storage and operations. To help protect aircraft and equipment in the coastal environment, the hangar includes dehumidification equipment that reduces moisture and minimizes corrosion effects. Large 90' wide by 20' high tilt-up doors at each end of the building allow aircraft to move efficiently in and out of the facility.
