Installation Complete: Washington County, Minnesota Salt Storage Building

The GC Fabric Building Division recently completed a salt storage building in Washington County, Minnesota near Stillwater. The structure features 12-foot-high containment panels that maximize storage capacity while preventing salt from contacting and damaging steel components.

• Engineered Building per IBC for Project Site

• 12.5 ounce, 23 mil polyethylene Non-FR fabric

• Hot Dipped Galvanized Building Components

• Engineered Concrete Foundation Featuring Pad and Piers Extending 4' Above Grade

• 12' Precast L Bunker Panels with Corrosion Inhibitor 

• One Open End Wall

• One End Wall with Steel Framing

• Four 4' x 4' Mesh End Wall Vents

• 6,500-Ton Salt Storage Capacity
