Lafayette, Indiana Salt Dome Storage
73' Wide x 120' Long Fabric Building
The GC Fabric Building Division completed a salt dome storage building for the City of Lafayette Public Works in Indiana, featuring one open end wall for equipment access and one steel-framed end wall with eight 4' x 4' mesh vents for optimal airflow. This design supports efficient road salt storage, ventilation, and moisture control, making it ideal for municipal public works operations.
A key advantage of the project was GC Fabric Buildings' ability to self-perform the fabric structure installation. Our dedicated fabric building crews bring specialized experience in erection planning, safety management, and quality control, helping deliver a durable structure while maintaining efficiency and minimizing project risk for the owner.
