Tipton County, Indiana Salt Storage Dome
65' Wide x 96' Long Fabric Building
The GC Fabric Building Division completed a salt storage dome for Tipton County, Indiana, designed to hold up to 2,560 tons. The structure includes 8-foot precast L-shaped bunker panels treated with a corrosion inhibitor to enhance durability and resist salt exposure. This dome provides efficient, weather-protected storage for bulk materials.
A key advantage of working with GC Fabric Buildings is our ability to self-perform both the foundation and fabric structure installation. By maintaining direct control of critical scopes of work, we help streamline project schedules, enhance quality control, and maintain a strong focus on jobsite safety from start to finish. This integrated approach reduces coordination challenges, provides a single point of accountability, and helps deliver reliable results for municipal and public works clients.
